A Dedicated Team, Committed to Capturing Healing Results

Dr. Thomas A. RoisumThomas A. Roisum, MD, MMM, FCAP, MRO
CellDox Founder

Raised in North Dakota, Dr. Roisum is deeply committed to serving rural communities and providing the best pathology services possible for the Tri-State area. For more than 15 years, Dr. Roisum has provided accurate pathology diagnoses in Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. He has lived and worked in Hannibal, Missouri, since 2001.

Complementing his patient-centered dedication to pathology, Dr. Roisum has taken great strides to strengthen his business expertise. In 2008, he received his master’s degree in medical management from Tulane University. Something like a cross between an MBA and a master’s in public health, Tulane’s MMM is the premier program for doctors who wish to advance their expertise in business, strategic planning, and total quality systems.

In addition, Dr. Roisum’s MMM program offered insight into strategies for providing the highest quality health care in rural communities. Dr. Roisum thoroughly understands the challenges of rural medicine. His vision for pathology in the Tri-State area is that patients, hospitals, labs, and doctors’ offices can rely on receiving accurate, timely diagnoses here, in this rural region, rather than looking to the “big city.” Dr. Roisum stresses that CellDox will always stay focused on managing quality and cost – always ensuring CellDox captures healing results.

Further, Dr. Roisum’s overarching vision for the Tri-State area is to initiate a quality-focused health care process throughout the region, with an emphasis on patient-centered care in every hospital, clinic, doctor’s office, and lab. To this end, he is spearheading the Rural Health Care Initiative.
